You'll be accountable for delivering safe, compliant, and high-performing solutions that significantly improve capacity, efficiency, accuracy, service, and cost performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the successful delivery of a multi-million-pound automation programme to time, cost and scope
  • Finalise and implement the Warehouse plan, including future-state design and automation roadmap
  • Develop robust business cases and secure stakeholder and board approval
  • Establish programme governance, manage risks, budgets, and suppliers
  • Oversee solution design, supplier selection, and technical delivery
  • Ensure seamless go-live with minimal operational disruption
  • Drive operational readiness, change management, and capability development
  • Deliver measurable business benefits including productivity, accuracy, and cost savings

About You

  • Proven track record delivering large-scale warehouse automation or transformation programmes in FMCG, food, logistics, or similar environments

  • Experience integrating WMS/ERP with WCS/WES and control systems
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including business case development and CAPEX management
  • Exceptional stakeholder leadership across operations, engineering, IT, and suppliers
  • Resilient, delivery-focused, and highly collaborative with a strong safety-first mindset
