I am sourcing an experienced HR Manager for a temp to perm . Based in Sandwell West Midlands you'll be onsite role with flexibility for a large manufacturing organisation.
You will report int the HR Director to deliver a proactive, commercially focused HR service across multiple operational sites.
This is a broad generalist role where you'll act as the trusted HR partner to managers, providing expert advice across the full employee lifecycle. You'll take the lead on complex employee relations cases, support organisational change, drive employee engagement initiatives and help develop management capability through coaching and guidance.
You'll also play a key role in recruitment and onboarding, performance management, absence management, succession planning and learning & development, while using HR data and insights to identify trends and recommend improvements. Alongside this, you'll support the review and implementation of HR policies, lead HR projects, work closely with Payroll and Health & Safety, and ensure the business remains compliant with UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
HR Manager required skills
- CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent)
- At least five years' HR generalist experience, ideally within a manufacturing, engineering or operational environment
- Strong experience managing complex employee relations cases
- A confident coach who can build capability and influence managers at all levels
- Experience supporting organisational change, engagement and continuous improvement initiatives
- A commercial, hands-on approach with excellent stakeholder management skills
