Title- Treasury Team Leader

Salary- £28,000-£32,000

Responsibilities
- Lead, guide, and develop the Treasury Team, ensuring all objectives, KPIs, and departmental standards are consistently achieved.
- Offer daily supervision, coaching, and performance oversight to support individual and team growth.
- Foster a culture built on accuracy, ownership, and continuous improvement across all treasury activities.
- Act as the primary contact for cash management and accounts payable enquiries, ensuring thorough checks are completed, collaborating with internal teams, and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
- Oversee payment processes, authorise team-led corrections, and coordinate urgent manual payments when required.
- Manage multiple shared mailboxes and respond professionally to incoming telephone queries.
- Champion colleague development by building strong cross-department relationships and serving as a reliable source of advice and problem‑solving support.
- Deliver training to both team members and wider business units, through in‑person or virtual sessions, supported by clear, well-prepared documentation.
- Process high transaction volumes across numerous legal entities with precision and efficiency.
- Handle CIS supplier verification and submissions to HMRC, as well as any associated queries or audit requirements.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly reconciliations for site accounts and control accounts.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Strong IT capability with confidence using Microsoft applications and a variety of internal systems.
- Demonstrated background in a Treasury role, ideally within property or real estate management.
- Solid understanding of service charge accounting and familiarity with RICS service charge codes.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred.
- Some knowledge of virtual account platforms.
- Exceptional accuracy, organisational skills, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication abilities and proven stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.
