  • £32000 - £36000 per annum
  • Birmingham, West Midlands

Are you ready for a role that goes beyond routine reporting and really challenges your skills? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation whose mission is to make the world a better place. Every decision in their finance team supports projects that change lives, and as a Treasury Analyst, you'll play a key part in ensuring funds are managed wisely, risks are minimised, and opportunities are maximised.

Based in Birmingham City Centre, this hybrid role gives you the flexibility to split your time between home and the office, while offering the chance to work on some of the most exciting areas of treasury - from FX and cash flow forecasting to risk management and investment monitoring. If you're looking for a role that is both technically engaging and deeply rewarding, this is it.

Why this role stands out
This isn't just about spreadsheets - it's about influencing decisions at the highest level. You'll be hands-on with foreign exchange, analysing exposure across multiple currencies, and ensuring the organisation is always one step ahead when it comes to financial risk. You'll be building reports and dashboards that don't just sit in a file - they actively shape the choices made by leadership. For someone who loves digging into detail, spotting trends, and turning numbers into insight, this role is packed with variety, challenge, and impact.

What you'll be doing:

  • Creating powerful treasury reports and dashboards that bring clarity to complex FX and banking risks.
  • Leading on cash flow forecasting across multiple regions, giving visibility of global funds and ensuring liquidity is never in doubt.
  • Taking ownership of currency analysis - highlighting exposures, identifying trends, and supporting strategies to protect against volatility.
  • Playing a key role in investment reporting, monitoring returns, and helping shape decisions that maximise value while keeping funds safe.
  • Partnering with senior leaders to provide analysis that drives financial strategy, not just supports it.
  • Bringing fresh ideas to how treasury is managed - improving reporting processes, finding efficiencies, and using technology to do things better.
  • Rolling up your sleeves with day-to-day operations, from monitoring international payments to keeping a close eye on global cash positions.

What we're looking for:

  • Someone who is currently studying towards ACCA, CIMA, ACT or another finance/treasury qualification - or eager to start.
  • A genuine passion for FX, cash flow, and risk management, with the drive to dig deep into analysis and learn quickly.
  • Strong Excel skills and a knack for turning large datasets into clear, meaningful insights.
  • A confident communicator who can simplify complex financial topics for different audiences.
  • Proactive, curious, and ambitious - thrives in a role that's fast-paced, varied, and impactful.

What's in it for you:

  • Hybrid working (Birmingham City Centre office + home).
  • The chance to use your career in finance to contribute to a bigger purpose.
  • Study support to help you progress your professional qualifications.
  • A collaborative, supportive team where you'll be encouraged to grow.
  • A truly exciting role combining technical treasury expertise with meaningful global impact.

This is more than a Treasury Analyst role - it's your chance to work at the sharp end of FX, risk, and analysis while knowing your expertise is making a difference where it really matters.
