Temporary Payroll Clerk | Leicester | Hybrid | £15 + holidays per hour
Gleeson are delighted to be working exclusively with a large manufacturing client in Leicester to urgently recruit a Temporary Payroll Clerk.
This is an immediate start (as soon as Monday ideally) and will run until at least the end of October.
Temporary Payroll Clerk Role Highlights:
Process payroll for c.2,500 employees across 7 payrolls, including starters, leavers, salary changes, and adjustments.
Manage wages, deductions, taxes, BACS payments, and month/year-end processing.
Administer non-cash benefits and ensure compliance with UK payroll legislation.
Provide advice and support to employees on pay-related queries.
- Currently running a weekly payroll and 2 monthly payrolls - this will soon become one monthly
Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience processing payroll for large staff bases is essential.
Based within a daily commute of Leicester is essential.
Experience with weekly payroll processes is highly preferred.
Available to start immediately with no significant leave planned before the end of October.

Rate: £15 + holiday pay per hour
37.5 hours per week - flexible hours
- Hybrid - 3 days in office
