Job Title: Tender & Pricing Executive
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage freight quotations, tenders, and pricing submissions for new and existing customers.
- Develop accurate and competitive pricing models across air, sea, road, and multimodal freight services.
- Source and negotiate rates with carriers, suppliers, agents, and logistics partners globally.
- Respond to Requests for Quotation (RFQs), Invitations to Tender (ITTs), and Requests for Information (RFIs) within agreed deadlines.
- Analyse customer requirements and create tailored commercial solutions.
- Support the sales team with pricing strategies and commercial insight during customer negotiations.
- Maintain and update pricing databases, rate sheets, and cost models.
- Work closely with Operations to validate service capabilities and ensure pricing accuracy.
- Conduct margin analysis and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
- Track tender performance, win rates, and provide recommendations for future bid improvements.
- Collaborate with Business Development teams to identify market trends and competitor activity.
- Produce professional client-facing proposals, presentations, and tender documents.
- Support contract reviews and ensure compliance with company standards and customer requirements.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of pricing processes, systems, and commercial reporting.
- Provide operational handover summaries for successful tender awards.
- Undertake additional commercial and pricing duties as required.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience within a Tender, Pricing, Commercial, or Freight Forwarding role.
- Strong understanding of Air Freight, Sea Freight, Road Freight, and Customs processes.
- Experience preparing and managing RFQs, tenders, and customer pricing proposals.
- Excellent commercial awareness with strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with pricing models.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience working with freight management or rate management systems is advantageous.
