Sales Administrator


Location: Hybrid - 2 Days in Office | Crewe
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

The Opportunity


We are looking for a proactive and organised Sales Administrator to join a growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration and customer service skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment supporting both customers and internal sales teams.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the sales process, maintaining accurate customer records, processing orders and documentation, and providing exceptional support to customers throughout their journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Sales team.
  • Process customer orders, documentation and sales requests accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain up-to-date customer records using the company's CRM system.
  • Act as a key point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and email.
  • Support the onboarding of new customers and ensure all required documentation is completed.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Prepare reports and update internal trackers as required.
  • Assist with quotations, sales administration and customer follow-up activities.
  • Help organise customer meetings and maintain regular communication with key accounts.
  • Ensure all customer information is accurate and compliant with company processes.
  • Provide administrative support to other departments during busy periods where required.

Experience & Knowledge

  • Previous experience in a Sales Administration, Customer Service, Sales Support or Account Support role.
  • Experience working with both new and existing customers.
  • Confident using CRM systems (Salesforce or similar experience beneficial).
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Experience supporting a commercial or sales function.
  • Previous experience working within a small or medium-sized business would be advantageous.
  • Financial services experience is not required.

  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Comfortable learning new systems and processes.
