A newly created, high profile, Property Finance Director opportunity, working for an iconic brand in the leisure and hospitality industry with significant sites across the UK and to a lesser extent internationally. Private equity backed, they are already one of the best performing brands in their sector, and they have exciting future growth plans. Property is a key pillar of the growth, and eventual exit strategy. The company has a substantial market opportunity and with ambitious growth plans, the prospects for progression are good.

The Role

The Property Finance Director will be based in South East England. This is a high-profile leadership role with significant visibility and influence across the Group and with direct access to the Exec and shareholders. Working closely with the Chief Property Officer (CPO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) you will be instrumental in reviewing the current real estate portfolio and identifying development and disposal opportunities. You will partner with the UK Development Director on acquisition opportunities, challenging traditional models to unlock greater value and efficiency.

You will be involved in strategic decision-making, financial modelling, deal structuring, and market analysis. You will lead financial due diligence, ensure all deals have clearly articulated returns, and conduct post-deal evaluations. You will also work closely with the Corporate Finance team to secure efficient funding structures. This is a genuine opportunity to play a key role in delivering the company's growth and value creation strategy.

Internally, you will act as a strategic bridge between Property and Finance supporting the delivery of the ambitious Property Strategy. Externally, you will maintain and develop critical relationships across the real estate and investment community, supporting the CPO and CFO with key market insights.

With Property a key driver in shaping the Group's growth, you will influence both current performance and long-term direction, ensuring all property decisions create real shareholder value.

Candidate Profile

  • For this Property Finance Director opportunity, you could be a qualified accountant OR a qualified surveyor
  • Asset investment experience is essential and the associated senior financial activities. Experience within an Asset Manager, PE firm or other active institutional investor is desirable.
  • A demonstrable track record of sourcing, executing, and enhancing UK commercial real estate deals
  • Strong buy-side and sell-side experience, with the ability to manage multiple transactions at pace
  • Deep understanding of the UK commercial real estate market and deal landscape
  • Proven experience in driving successful investment outcomes and delivering measurable value
  • Strategy and planning experience within investments and excellent financial forecasting experience
  • Experience of operating at board level and a good ability to influence Executive Teams. The ability to present and interpret financial information to a range of stakeholders will be important
  • A strategic thinker with exceptional analytical skills, who is confident challenging conventional thinking
  • Resilient, adaptable, and able to work autonomously. You must also be skilled in building trusted internal and external relationships
