A major organisation in the industrial, water and energy sector is seeking a Lead Procurement Business Partner to join its senior leadership team. This is a high-impact, strategic role supporting major engineering and construction programmes (c. £300m addressable spend).
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the strategic interface between Procurement and a core business line
- Lead and develop a small team of Procurement Business Partners
- Shape procurement strategy across major infrastructure, water, energy, FM and specialist projects
- Build strong supplier relationships and influence early project design
- Drive sustainability and ESG-focused initiatives
- Lead high‑value commercial negotiations and represent procurement at senior forums
About You
- Senior procurement experience with a strong strategic track record
- Expertise in engineering and construction procurement
- Proven delivery on large capital projects and asset lifecycle optimisation
- Degree or MCIPS required
- CIPS Chartered Status or Master's desirable
