POS Manager
Location: Nottingham (Hybrid - Monday to Wednesday in the office)
Salary: Up to £50,000 + Benefits
We're partnering with a leading multi-site retailer to recruit a POS Manager who will take ownership of all in-store point of sale activity across a nationwide retail estate.
This is a hands-on role for someone who understands the full POS lifecycle-from briefing creative and managing print production through to ensuring the right materials land in the right stores at the right time. If you're someone who enjoys bringing structure to processes, building strong relationships and making things happen, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
Reporting into the Marketing Director, you'll lead the planning, production and delivery of all in-store POS activity, ensuring stores are fully supported for new product launches, promotional campaigns and service messaging.
You'll manage two direct reports while working closely with marketing, category, retail operations, creative teams and print suppliers to deliver high-quality POS across a large retail estate. Alongside the day-to-day delivery, you'll identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency and raise execution standards across stores.
What You'll Be Doing
Own the end-to-end management of all in-store POS activity.
Brief creative teams and oversee artwork through to final sign-off.
Manage external print suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency and on-time delivery.
Build and manage store allocation lists, ensuring accurate distribution across the retail estate.
Support store openings, relocations and refurbishment projects.
Lead, coach and develop a small POS team.
Work collaboratively with marketing, category, retail operations and global stakeholders.
Conduct store audits and identify opportunities to improve execution and processes.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met across a busy retail calendar.
Drive continuous improvement, challenging existing ways of working and implementing better processes.
About You
We're looking for someone who has lived and breathed POS within a fast-paced retail environment.
You'll likely have:
Proven experience managing end-to-end POS for a multi-site retailer.
Strong knowledge of print production and supplier management.
Experience briefing and approving creative artwork.
Previous experience building store allocation and distribution plans.
Experience leading or mentoring a team.
Excellent project management and organisational skills.
The ability to prioritise multiple deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
A collaborative, low-ego approach with strong relationship-building skills.
A proactive mindset-you spot problems, take ownership and get things sorted.
Retail experience is essential. This role isn't suited to a generalist marketing background; we're looking for someone with dedicated POS experience who understands how in-store campaigns come together from concept through to execution.
What's on Offer
Up to £50,000 salary.
Hybrid working (Monday to Wednesday in the office).
The opportunity to play a key role in transforming and improving the retailer's in-store POS function.
A collaborative marketing team with plenty of autonomy and scope to make an impact.
If you're looking for a role where you can take ownership, improve processes and genuinely make a difference, we'd love to hear from you.
