Role- Payroll Administrator
- Position: Full Time
- Salary: Up to £32,000
- Location: Coventry
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Working Pattern: Hybrid

Key Responsibilities
As Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for:
- Processing monthly payroll, including starters, leavers, pay changes, statutory payments, sickness, and payrolled benefits in kind
- Ensuring payroll activities comply with company policy, HMRC regulations, and current legislation
- Managing payroll and benefits uploads to third‑party providers (e.g. pension schemes)
- Responding promptly and professionally to payroll-related queries from employees and management
- Completing monthly payroll reconciliations
- Maintaining strict confidentiality of employee and payroll information
- Supporting ad‑hoc payroll and administrative duties as required
About You
You will be:
- Highly organised with strong time‑management skills
- Confident using digital tools, including Microsoft Office products
- Calm under pressure and able to meet tight deadlines
- Naturally discreet with the ability to work sensitively with confidential data
- Comfortable acting as a key point of contact for payroll queries
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Minimum 2 years' payroll experience
- Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation
- Advanced Excel skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident handling payroll queries
Desirable:
- Experience using SelectPay
