Role- P2P Planner

Location: Warwickshire
Reporting to: P2P Lead

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented P2P Planner to join a dynamic supply chain team based in Warwick. This role is responsible for managing order planning and fulfilment activities across a portfolio of key customer accounts, ensuring products are supplied efficiently and cost-effectively.

Working closely with manufacturing sites, logistics providers, sales teams and finance functions, you will coordinate end-to-end supply activities to maximise product availability and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Order Planning & Supply Coordination

• Take ownership of order management activities for a portfolio of key customer accounts, balancing standard processes with specific customer requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities between manufacturing sites, logistics providers, sales and finance teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
• Work closely with customers, sales teams and logistics operations to maintain strong product availability and support consumer demand.
• Ensure supply plans align with customer forecasts, agreed service targets and promotional activity.
• Utilise SAP and Excel to analyse data, generate reports and provide insights to internal and external stakeholders.

Delivery Management

• Proactively plan and communicate delivery requirements with third-party logistics providers.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery performance, increase availability and optimise logistics costs.
• Manage and resolve delivery discrepancies, implementing effective solutions while balancing service levels and cost considerations.

Customer & Stakeholder Management

• Build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to support business growth and customer satisfaction.
• Take ownership of customer enquiries and proactively manage issues through to resolution.
• Act as a trusted representative of the business, developing a strong understanding of products, customers and market requirements.

Skills & Experience

Essential

• Previous experience within Supply Chain, Planning, Customer Service, Key Account Support or a related business function.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and manipulate data.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, with experience using PowerPoint. Knowledge of Power BI would be advantageous.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
• Commercial awareness with a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to influence and build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to changing business requirements.

Qualifications

• No specific degree is required. Applications are welcomed from individuals with a range of educational and professional backgrounds who can demonstrate strong analytical ability, curiosity and a willingness to learn.
• A qualification in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics or a related discipline would be beneficial.
• Approximately 2+ years of relevant industry experience or an equivalent qualification.
