Finance Operations Team Leader

Are you a confident people leader with a passion for building strong teams and driving operational excellence? We're looking for a Finance Operations Team Leader to take charge of a large, fast-paced administrative team within our client's Finance Operations function.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a structured environment, enjoys working with data, and has a proven track record in motivating teams, improving processes, and delivering results.
What you'll be doing:
Leading, coaching, and developing a busy administration team to achieve targets and deliver consistent results.
Managing all aspects of people processes, including 1:1s, appraisals, absence management, disciplinaries, and performance reviews.
Overseeing day-to-day workflows, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
Collaborating across the wider finance function to align on objectives and support business priorities.
Using Excel to monitor performance, analyse data trends, and implement improvements.
Supporting recruitment, training, and on boarding of new team members while fostering a positive, inclusive team culture.
What we're looking for:
Experience leading and developing large teams within a finance operations or administration setting.
Strong people management skills with proven experience handling formal HR processes.
Excellent Excel skills and the confidence to interpret and work with data.
Highly organised, proactive, and adaptable to a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Strong communicator with a collaborative, team-focused mindset.
