Management Accountant

The Role: Commercial, Hands‑On and High Impact
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll take full responsibility for financial reporting, control and insight across a portfolio of operational sites.
This role goes beyond reporting - you'll operate as a Finance Business Partner, challenging performance, strengthening controls and adding commercial value.
- Produce timely, accurate management accounts, budgets and forecasts for multiple sites
- Analyse financial performance, identifying variances, trends and key drivers
- Own balance sheet accuracy, including reconciliations, fixed assets and GRNI
- Act as the main finance partner to site teams, leading financial reviews
- Prepare statutory accounts and support VAT, tax and audit requirements
- Contribute to finance improvements and ad‑hoc projects across the wider business
About You
You'll be commercially minded, detail‑focused and comfortable operating in a fast‑moving, multi‑site environment.
You'll bring:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting or Business, with ACCA / CIMA / ACA part‑qualified or qualified
(salary dependent on qualification level) - Strong management accounting experience
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving capability
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Clear, confident communication with finance and non‑finance stakeholders
