Job Title :Logistics Project Manager
Location : Northampton
Salary : £45-50,000
As a overview this role will liaise with External and Internal Stakeholders of the business, leading a project from start to finish working strongly with the solutions team and Implementing business processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute supply chain projects from initiation to completion, ensuring on-time delivery and within budget constraints.
- Develop project plans, time-lines, and milestones, and regularly communicate progress to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, logistics, production, and finance, to align project objectives with overall business goals.
- Foster effective communication and cooperation among team members to drive successful project outcomes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the supply chain, implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
- Analyse data and key performance indicators to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
- Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise disruptions in the supply chain.
- Monitor and address any issues that may arise during the project life cycle.
- Work closely with suppliers and third-party partners to ensure alignment with project requirements and time lines.
- Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts to secure favourable terms for the organisation.
