Junior Management Accountant

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Our client, a growing and highly reputable organisation, is seeking a motivated Junior Management Accountant to join their expanding finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a part qualified or early career finance professional looking to develop their skills within a supportive and dynamic environment.
The Role:
In this role you will support the month end process and provide accurate financial information to help drive effective business decisions. This role is perfect for someone with strong analytical skills, good attention to detail, and a desire to progress within management accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with month end duties including journals, accruals, and prepayments
- Supporting the production of monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Balance sheet reconciliations and investigation of variances
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting cycles
- Preparing financial analysis to support senior management
- Helping maintain financial controls and ensuring accuracy of accounting records
- Liaising with internal departments to gather financial information
- Supporting ad‑hoc finance projects as required
Skills and Requirements:
- Studying or looking to study towards AAT / ACCA / CIMA
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines
- Confident using Excel and financial systems
- A proactive, positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
