An Interim Transition Services Project Director is now required to join a highly reputable and global business during a significant period of change.

The Interim Transition Services Project Director will undertake a high profile and instrumental role, working closely with senior stakeholders bridging various functional areas including Finance, IT and HR. As the Interim Transition Services Project Director, you will ensure the effective planning and successful execution of multiple work streams and projects.

Key responsibilities will include;

  • Planning and defining exit projects across multiple functional areas

  • Establishing appropriate governance and reporting structures

  • Leading on the day-to-day requirements of the Transition project ensuring a successful exit strategy

  • Monitoring services and progress aligned to the plan, ensuring risks are mitigated and actions implemented

  • Leading the steering meetings to review milestones and monthly status reports

  • Monitoring and reviewing activities across all functional areas

  • Business partnering with key internal and external stakeholders

  • Documenting and escalating risks to appropriate stakeholders

Key requirements of the role

  • A proven track record operating in a global and complex business of scale, ideally with a finance lens

  • Credibility and gravitas, coupled with the aptitude of operating at both a tactical and strategic level

  • Extensive experience in Transition Service Management and Transition Service Agreements

  • The ability to influence, engage and engender trust with multiple internal and external keyholders across multiple functional areas

  • A proven track record of successfully delivering projects of scale in a global matrix organisation
