Interim Procurement Manager - Healthcare & Public Sector
Birmingham | 3-6 Month Contract | Inside IR35
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Interim Procurement Manager to join a busy, fast‑moving organisation in Birmingham, supporting delivery of several high‑profile procurement projects.
This role requires someone who can hit the ground running, take ownership of their own workload, and confidently manage the end‑to‑end procurement process in a pressured environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing full lifecycle procurement projects from strategy to contract award
- Delivering compliant tenders in line with PA23 / public sector regulations
- Leading complex procurement activity, ideally within clinical categories
- Using e‑tendering systems such as Bravo
- Working closely with stakeholders to maintain pace and compliance
What We're Looking For
- Proven public sector and healthcare procurement experience
- Strong working knowledge of PA23
- Confident running procurement exercises independently
- Experience within clinical procurement highly desirable
- Available at short notice
Contract: Initial 3-6 months
Rate: Day rate dependent on experience (Inside IR35)
Location: Birmingham (on-site presence required 2 x per week)
