Interim Financial Controller
Ledbury | Onsite 5 Days Per Week | £350-£450 per day | 3-6 Month Contract
We are supporting a well-established business in Ledbury with the appointment of an Interim Financial Controller to provide leadership and stability during the transition to a permanent hire.
Reporting to the General Manager and corporate team, you will take ownership of the finance function, leading a small team whilst ensuring robust financial control, accurate reporting and effective business partnering across the organisation.
Experience within a private equity-backed business environment would be highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead month-end close and management accounting processes
- Own budgeting, forecasting and EBITDA performance reporting
- Manage cash flow, working capital and balance sheet integrity
- Deliver group reporting in line with IFRS and corporate deadlines
- Lead audit, VAT and statutory compliance activities
- Drive process improvements across finance operations and ERP systems
- Develop and support a transactional finance team
About You
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar leadership role
- Strong manufacturing sector experience desirable
- Track record of leading finance teams and improving processes
- Hands-on approach with excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills
