Financial Accountant - EMEA Region
A leading multinational organisation is seeking a qualified Financial Accountant to join its high-performing finance team. This is a pivotal role within a matrix-structured environment, supporting multiple entities across the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting for month-end, quarter-end, half-year, and year-end close cycles.
- Prepare statutory accounts and support external audits with precision and urgency.
- Manage fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, and general ledger reconciliations to a high standard.
- Lead accounts payable processes, ensuring strict adherence to payment deadlines and internal controls.
- Support cash flow forecasting and balance sheet oversight across multiple countries.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with group policies and local accounting standards.
Ideal Candidate:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (ACA preferred).
- Proven experience in a complex, multi-national matrix organisation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage conflicting priorities under pressure.
- Exposure to EMEA finance operations and familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
