HR Advisor | 6 months FTC | Near Wolverhampton | up to £40K plus beneits | Full Time
Are you an experienced HR Advisor looking for your next opportunity? We're working with a well-established organisation near Wolverhampton who are looking to appoint an HR Advisor on a 6-month fixed-term contract, hybrid working. This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a supportive team and make an immediate impact.
The Role
As HR Advisor, you'll provide a broad HR advisory service across the business, working closely with managers and employees to provide practical, commercially focused advice.
You'll be involved in a varied range of HR activity, including:
- Providing day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and employees
- Supporting with employee relations cases including absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance matters
- Advising managers on HR policies, procedures and best practice
- Supporting the employee lifecycle from onboarding through to exit
- Maintaining accurate HR records and ensuring processes are followed
- Supporting wider HR projects and initiatives as required
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business
About You
We're looking for an experienced HR Advisor who is confident working across a broad generalist remit and can quickly get up to speed in a new environment.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience working in an HR Advisor or similar generalist HR role
- Strong employee relations experience
- The confidence to advise and challenge managers where appropriate
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A pragmatic, commercial and solutions-focused approach
- The ability to work independently and hit the ground running
This would suit someone who enjoys a varied HR role, is comfortable operating at pace and is looking for a 6-month FTC.
