Head of Sales & Marketing

Our client is a growing leader in the water treatment industry, specialising in innovative electric water softening solutions designed for merchants, distributors, and retail partners. They are continuing to expand and are looking for a dynamic, commercially driven Head of Sales & Marketing to take their growth to the next level.

The Role

As Head of Sales & Marketing, you will take full ownership of our commercial strategy and lead a high-performing team across sales, business development, and marketing. You'll shape the long-term direction, build strong channel partnerships, and ensure our electric water softener products become the preferred choice across merchants, distributors, and retail markets.

This is a high-impact, senior role ideal for someone who loves leading teams, crafting strategy, and driving real commercial results.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead, inspire, and develop the Sales & Marketing team to deliver sustainable growth.
  • Own and deliver the overall commercial strategy for merchant, distributor, and retail channels.
  • Identify new market opportunities and shape the roadmap for future product and channel expansion.

Sales & Commercial Management

  • Manage the full sales pipeline: forecasting, performance tracking, and improving conversion.
  • Build and maintain strong senior-level relationships across key partners and accounts.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to ensure we stay ahead.
  • Support the team in securing new business, negotiating partnerships, and upselling across channels.

Marketing & Brand Growth

  • Work in partnership with the Marketing Team to ensure delivery against new business acquisition and sales conversation targets.
  • Evolve the E-Commerce model as per identified opportunities.

Growth & Performance

  • Drive year-on-year revenue growth through effective planning and execution.
  • Develop KPIs and metrics to track success and continuously improve performance.
  • Work closely with operations, IT, customer experience, product, and leadership to ensure strong cross-functional collaboration.
