Location: Onsite, Gloucestershire (with travel across multiple UK sites)
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £70,000-£80,000 + mileage + benefits

An ambitious, PE‑backed group renowned for delivering exceptional experiences is entering an aggressive expansion phase. With multiple new properties acquired and more in the pipeline, the business is building a centralised procurement function for the first time.

With the current spend set to double, a lot of suppliers, and a diverse category mix - from utilities, technology and to food and beverage - you'll bring structure, strategy and commercial expertise to a hugely entrepreneurial environment.

The Role
As Head of Procurement, you will lead the development and execution of a cohesive procurement strategy that consistently enhances commercial performance while safeguarding the exceptional experience the brand is known for.
You'll centralise and elevate procurement practices across all sites - introducing control, rigour, and commercial insight, while respecting the authenticity of local suppliers and the unique stories behind them.
This is a hands‑on, influential leadership role, working closely with senior stakeholders, Managing Directors, site leaders and suppliers to embed best practice and drive continuous improvement across the group.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Procurement Leadership
- Develop and deliver a group‑wide procurement strategy aligned to ambitious growth plans.
- Lead category planning across Indirects + Food & Beverage.
- Guide capital project procurement, supporting with expertise, not direct project leadership.
Procurement Operations
- Oversee sourcing, tendering, purchasing and contract negotiation across all sites.
- Introduce and embed best‑practice procurement processes, documentation and controls.
- Support procurement involvement in refurbishments and new site openings, ensuring consistency and cost discipline.
Supplier & Contract Management
- Build strong supplier partnerships focused on quality, sustainability and value.
- Introduce KPIs, SLAs and structured supplier performance frameworks.
- Consolidate the supplier base and implement robust vendor onboarding processes.
- Manage supply chain risk, ethical sourcing and sustainability considerations..
- Lead ESG and sustainability initiatives across procurement, reducing waste and supporting eco‑friendly product choices.

Important Note
This is a fully onsite role (5 days per week) due to the pace, visibility, and cross‑functional collaboration required. This role offers £70,000 - £80, 000 + benefits.
