About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Group Reporting Manager to provide maternity cover for a 12-15 month period, starting mid-November. The successful candidate will take ownership of external reporting and local statutory consolidation, ensuring accurate and timely delivery across key reporting cycles.
You'll join during a handover phase with the current postholder, allowing for a smooth transition and reduced year-end pressure before taking full responsibility in January.
This is a hands-on, technically challenging role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys process improvement, and can contribute to ongoing automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead external reporting for the parent company, including quarterly submissions to the ownership group
Manage local consolidation and preparation of statutory consolidated accounts
Oversee month-end and quarterly reporting cycles
Drive automation and efficiency improvements within reporting and consolidation processes
Support and lead project-based initiatives as required
Ensure compliance with internal controls (SOX experience an advantage)
Candidate Profile
Strong background in group reporting and consolidation (essential)
Proven experience with external reporting and technical accounting standards
Hands-on, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying and implementing process improvements
Confident managing complex consolidation processes and working to tight deadlines
Familiarity with SOX frameworks (beneficial but not essential)
