The Role:
As a Group Management Accountant, you'll take ownership of producing timely, accurate management accounts, consolidating group financials, and providing meaningful analysis that supports executive decision-making.
You'll be part of a collaborative and innovative finance team, working closely with senior leaders to improve visibility, streamline processes, and contribute to the group's continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce accurate and insightful monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cashflow.
Take ownership of cashflow forecasting and analysis, supporting proactive business decisions.
Assist with the consolidation of group results and preparation of board-level reports.
Perform variance analysis and deliver actionable insights against budgets and forecasts.
Manage intercompany reconciliations, capital expenditure monitoring, and VAT submissions.
Support budgeting and three-year planning cycles, providing financial modelling where needed.
Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance financial understanding across the business.
Play a key role in year-end reporting and liaise with external auditors.
Lead or support ad hoc finance projects that drive process improvement and efficiency.
About You:
Proven track record in management accounting within a group or multi-entity environment.
Strong technical understanding of cashflow and consolidation.
Advanced Excel and confident use of financial systems.
Studying towards ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent) - fully qualified also welcome.
Meticulous attention to detail combined with a commercial mindset.
Excellent communicator, able to influence and engage across all levels of the business.
Self-motivated, driven, and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced, change-oriented setting.
