As a key member of the finance leadership team, you will work closely with senior leadership, the PE house and external advisors. With an enterprise-wide outlook, you will promote the finance function across the business and provide hands-on technical guidance.

For this high-profile Group Controller opportunity in the West Midlands, you must be a qualified accountant (preferably ACA, or ACCA), ideally having trained with a top tier firm, with significant post-qualified experience. Able to translate complex financial information for diverse audiences, including senior leadership and investors.
Strong technical and commercial acumen, problem-solving abilities, and meticulous attention to detail are all required, as well as being adept at managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience required:
8-10 years of progressive experience in financial control, reporting, and accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Extensive experience in manufacturing (highly desirable).
Extensive experience in global reporting across multiple currencies and facilities.
Proven track record in financial reporting and controls within a fast-paced, growth-oriented, private equity-backed business.
Experience in a finance role where significant change, transformation and improvement of business performance has been delivered.
Expert knowledge of financial reporting standards (FRS, IFRS, UK GAAP) and corporate governance.
