I am working with a PE-backed international B2B services provider with an ambitious 'buy and build' growth strategy. The company, based in the Midlands, are seeking a technically strong Group Financial Controller to play a pivotal role in driving the company's financial success.
Responsibilities Included:
- Develop and maintain all necessary day-to-day financial controls, systems, and processes to ensure the efficient and effective management of the company's finances.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements.
- Take responsibility for all financial accounting, bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Support the implementation of a new finance system.
- Lead the centralisation of accounts payable automation and credit control.
- Provide financial reporting and analysis to support the company's strategic objectives.
The successful candidate will have technical group accounting skills, ideally have trained in a top tier accountancy firm and have a proven track record within high growth, acquisitive SME environments.
Skills and Attributes:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with significant experience in a similar role.
- Group financial reporting experience.
- Post acquisition integration and systems standardisation.
- Effective communicator with the ability to present financial information to stakeholders.
- Experience in supporting a business growing through mergers and acquisitions.
