The Role
As Group Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring robust financial controls, compliance with regulatory requirements, and effective risk management across the organisation. You'll act as a trusted advisor to the senior leadership team, providing insight and assurance to support sustainable growth.
Key responsibilities will include:
Leading the internal audit function and delivering an effective audit programme.
Ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory and financial reporting requirements.
Developing and maintaining risk management frameworks, policies and procedures.
Driving improvements in internal controls and governance.
Partnering with senior stakeholders to provide strategic advice and assurance.
Managing relationships with external auditors and regulators.
About You
We're looking for a commercially astute finance leader with a strong technical background and excellent stakeholder management skills.
You will ideally have:
A recognised finance/accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
Proven experience in audit, compliance or risk management, ideally within a complex business environment.
Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and governance best practice.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence at a senior level.
A proactive mindset with the ability to drive change and continuous improvement.
