The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded Group Finance Analyst to join a successful and growing organisation. Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality reporting, analysis and insights that support strategic decision-making across the business.

The Role

Key responsibilities will include:

• Producing weekly and monthly performance reporting for senior stakeholders.
• Delivering meaningful financial and operational analysis to support business decisions.
• Supporting annual budgets, forecasts and periodic reforecasts.
• Preparing management information packs, including commentary on key trends and variances.
• Analysing large datasets to identify opportunities, risks and performance drivers.
• Maintaining and developing reporting tools, models and dashboards.
• Partnering with stakeholders across multiple business functions.
• Supporting finance systems, reporting processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assisting with ad hoc projects and strategic analysis as required.

About You

We are looking for a commercially aware finance professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for turning data into actionable insights.

You may currently be working as a:

• Finance Analyst
• FP&A Analyst
• Commercial Finance Analyst
• Management Accountant
• Assistant Finance Business Partner
• Group Reporting Analyst

To be successful, you'll ideally have:

• Experience producing management information and performance reporting.
• Exposure to budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Experience analysing large volumes of financial and operational data.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• A proactive and inquisitive approach with strong attention to detail.
• ACCA, CIMA or ACA studies underway, completed or equivalent experience.
• Experience with reporting systems, BI tools or ERP systems would be advantageous.
