Front End Developer - £45K
Wolverhampton based - 2 days per week onsite working
I'm currently looking for a talented Front End Developer with strong JavaScript and TypeScript experience to join a development team working on modern, scalable web applications.
This is a great opportunity for a developer who enjoys building high-quality applications using React and Next.js, takes pride in writing clean, maintainable code, and wants to be involved throughout the full development lifecycle.
The Role
You'll be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining web applications, with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and scalability. You'll work closely with technical leads and other developers to deliver solutions that meet business objectives and project deadlines.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining modern web applications using React, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Building and maintaining integrations between applications, APIs, and databases.
- Writing clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-tested code, with experience in C# also forming part of the technology stack.
- Taking ownership of features throughout the full development lifecycle, from initial design and implementation through to deployment and ongoing support.
- Participating in code reviews, sharing knowledge, and providing constructive feedback to maintain high development standards.
- Supporting and mentoring less experienced developers where appropriate.
- Collaborating with technical leads and wider development teams to deliver projects in line with agreed objectives and timelines.
What I'm Looking For
I'm keen to speak with developers who have a strong front-end development background, particularly in JavaScript and TypeScript, alongside hands-on experience with React and Next.js.
You'll be someone who understands the importance of writing quality code, building reliable applications, and working collaboratively within a development team. You should also be comfortable taking ownership of your work, contributing to technical discussions, and supporting others where needed.
Experience with C# and application, API, and database integrations will also be valuable.
