A fantastic opportunity has opened for a driven and analytical finance professional to join a high-performing Group Finance team during a time of significant change.

Reporting to the FP&A Manager responsible for cost of sales, you'll be focused on delivering meaningful insight. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with operational and commercial stakeholders, digging into the numbers, and helping shape strategic decisions.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Preparing clear and insightful financial analysis focused on direct costs, project progress, and overall impact on margin
  • Reviewing build and infrastructure costs and assessing how these influence profit, cash, and inventory levels
  • Supporting the development of forecasts and budgets by supplying accurate cost and investment data
  • Producing regular and ad hoc reporting for senior leaders and supporting planning cycles
  • Working closely with colleagues across finance, commercial and operations to ensure alignment on assumptions and reporting
  • Assisting in project and investment reviews by examining performance against original assumptions
  • Helping improve internal processes and supporting the shift towards automated, standardised reporting
  • Ensuring data is well understood, clearly presented, and drives better decision-making across the business

What You'll Bring:

  • A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) - nearly qualified candidates with relevant experience will also be considered
  • Previous experience in FP&A or commercial finance within a large, structured organisation
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large sets of financial and operational data
  • Experience of working with finance systems; familiarity with reporting tools like Power BI is an advantage
  • Proactive mindset - able to stay ahead of issues and anticipate stakeholder needs
  • A natural communicator, confident working with non-finance teams and senior leaders
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
