Gleeson recruitment are working with a business that are looking for an FP&A Analyst to join their team.

The role is based in Burton, offering both flexible and hybrid working with a salary of up to £55,000 and 20% bonus.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the month-end group close process, ensuring complete and accurate consolidation of Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet figures across all entities.
  • Prepare comprehensive monthly board and leadership reports, highlighting key financial movements, risks, and actionable insights.
  • Deliver timely analysis and financial commentary to both operational and finance stakeholders, helping inform critical business decisions.
  • Assist the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis with quarterly external filings, including drafting the Management's Discussion and Analysis (MD&A) for submission.
  • Support corporate budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring alignment with internal timelines and business objectives.
  • Maintain and oversee the consolidation platform, ensuring data integrity, correct FX application, and report configuration.
  • Identify and implement process efficiencies to streamline reporting and improve consistency across the group.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis, reports, and presentation materials as required by senior management.

The ideal candidate:

  • A fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Proven ability to work with large, complex datasets and extract meaningful information.
  • Strong excel skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Confidence in presenting to stakeholders.
