FP&A Analyst

Location: Nuneaton
Salary: £42,000 - £45,000

A leading client of ours is seeking a forward thinking and commercially minded FP&A Analyst to join its finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on partnering with senior stakeholders, shaping financial insight, and driving performance across a dynamic business division.

The Role:

As the FP&A Analyst, you will work closely with the Financial Controller and wider leadership team to deliver high quality financial planning, insightful analysis, and reliable forecasting. You'll play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making and ensuring financial clarity across a fast paced and growing division.

This position is ideal for someone who is proactive, analytical, and confident in leading financial processes end‑to‑end. You will also support continuous improvement initiatives, helping to build more efficient, standardised, and automated reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the full annual budgeting process and all in year forecasting cycles.
  • Provide ongoing performance reporting, including clear variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods.
  • Deliver meaningful insight that highlights risks, opportunities, and improvement actions.
  • Support the Financial Controller with all reporting and analytical requirements.
  • Produce and oversee weekly P&Ls and other recurring performance reports.
  • Partner with non finance stakeholders to improve forecasting accuracy and financial understanding.
  • Contribute to the standardisation and continuous improvement of reporting processes.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Strong Excel skills, with the ability to work efficiently with large data sets.
  • Experience in an FP&A or similar analytical finance role.
  • Ideally Part‑qualified in (ACCA/CIMA)
  • Comfortable engaging with non finance teams and explaining financial concepts clearly.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
  • Experience with financial systems is advantageous.
