Fleet Manager
Location: Hybrid working (minimum 1 day per week on site)
Salary: £35,000 - £40,500 (depending on experience)
Role Summary
We are seeking a proactive and confident Fleet Manager to take ownership of all fleet-related activity across our clients organisation. This position requires someone who thrives in a high‑energy environment, communicates clearly, and is comfortable constructively challenging processes to drive improvement.
Acting as the central fleet specialist, you will support operational teams, ensure compliance standards are upheld, and help shape the way our fleet processes, systems and performance continue to evolve. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, knowing when to take initiative and when to escalate for support.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the organisation's primary expert for all aspects of fleet management.
- Prioritise workload effectively in a demanding and dynamic environment.
- Partner with operational teams and confidently challenge existing practices to promote best‑in‑class standards.
- Work with the Continuum fleet management system (training provided if required).
- Maintain consistent and robust compliance across the fleet.
- Liaise with Group Support teams, escalating issues where appropriate.
- Contribute to strategic projects and help shape early objectives, including "first 100 days" planning.
Experience & Skills Required
Experience
- Background in fleet management preferred, though strong operational or leadership experience will also be considered.
- Familiarity with fleet management systems; experience with Continuum is advantageous.
