Financial Controller - Lead, Shape, and Elevate Finance

My client is looking for a Financial Controller to join a high-impact organisation to lead and improve the finance team. What You'll Do:
- Lead all aspects of financial operations including reporting, treasury, tax compliance, and audit.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly and annual closings in line with UK GAAP and group policies.
- Act as a key business partner to senior leadership and global stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial controls, systems, and processes.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Oversee statutory accounts, payroll review, and insurance coordination.
- Play a pivotal role in an ERP upgrade.
What You'll Bring:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong UK operational experience.
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar leadership role in a mid sized or large organisation .
- Expertise in financial reporting, audit, and compliance in a multi-currency environment.
- Strong Excel and systems skills, ERP implementation experience is a plus.
- A proactive, analytical mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
