We are seeking an experienced and proactive Finance Manager to join a growing business on a fixed-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who enjoys working collaboratively, driving high standards of financial control, and partnering with stakeholders across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the finance function, ensuring robust financial controls and compliance.
- Manage external and internal audit processes, acting as the key point of contact for auditors.
- Oversee VAT compliance and ensure adherence to relevant regulatory requirements.
- Support month-end, year-end, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
- Partner with operational and commercial teams to provide financial insight and guidance.
- Drive continuous improvement of finance processes and controls.
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar leadership role.
- Previous people management experience is essential.
- Strong experience managing audits and dealing with external auditors.
- Sound knowledge of VAT compliance and financial controls.
- Proactive, organised, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative team player with excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) would be advantageous.
- Available to commence the role in early September.
