We're currently supporting a major infrastructure organisation in the search for an experienced Interim Finance Manager to support their capital programme delivery. This is a hands-on, high-impact role requiring someone who can hit the ground running with minimal handover and thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment.
You'll be joining a business undergoing significant capital investment, and your role will be to provide financial leadership, insight, and control across large-scale infrastructure projects. Whether your strength lies in performance reporting or business partnering, this opportunity offers exposure to both.
Key Focus Areas:
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and reporting across capital programmes
- Deliver actionable insight and challenge to senior stakeholders
- Ensure financial governance, controls, and audit readiness
- Support investment decisions and drive commercial value
- Collaborate with PMO, delivery teams, and finance functions to improve reporting and performance
- Work with tools like SAP and Power BI to enhance data visibility and decision-making
What You'll Bring:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Proven experience in large-scale capital projects or infrastructure environments
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and limited handover - you'll be expected to get stuck in quickly
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence across functions
- Experience in financial planning, analysis, and performance reporting
- Familiarity with SAP, Power BI, and capital governance frameworks
