Are you looking to take your first step into finance or administration? This Finance Assistant role is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive business where you'll gain hands-on experience across both finance and office administration.

This is a varied position that would suit someone organised, eager to learn, and happy to get involved in a mix of tasks. You'll provide support to the finance team with day-to-day accounting duties while also helping the wider office with administrative support.

What you'll be doing:

  • Building strong relationships with suppliers and customers, resolving queries quickly and efficiently.
  • Processing purchase invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and ensuring records are accurate.
  • Helping to manage customer accounts, including sending reminders and following up on outstanding payments.
  • Assisting with reconciliations across systems and keeping track of key data for reporting purposes.
  • Supporting the wider office team with admin tasks such as managing inboxes, answering calls, and handling correspondence.
  • Creating and updating records on internal systems to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
  • Helping with ad-hoc projects, reporting, and documentation when required.
