My client is investing heavily in digital transformation, and we're supporting them with the growth of their FP&A team to build smarter, faster, more connected reporting. 🚀 The Opportunity
As Finance Analyst, you'll play a key role in optimising and enhancing the core suite of financial reports, models, and templates. You'll be hands-on with data and systems every day, improving accuracy, speeding up processes, and helping to reach a point where reports can be produced at the click of a button.
You'll work closely with the Senior Finance Analyst and alongside another Analysts, contributing to both BAU reporting and larger development projects as they look to modernise reporting infrastructure. It's a role with breadth, autonomy, and the chance to make a visible difference.
🔍 What You'll Be Doing
- Maintaining, improving, and streamlining financial reports, dashboards, and templates
- Enhancing data processes using SQL, Power BI, Power Query and advanced Excel
- Supporting the rollout of improved reporting, documentation and training
- Troubleshooting reporting issues and improving user experience across Finance
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and build better solutions
- Contributing to major transformation projects across FP&A and Finance
💡 What We're Looking For
- A qualified or part‑qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA) or equivalent strong practical experience
- Strong technical capability in data, reporting and modelling
- Confident with SQL, Power BI, and advanced Excel
- Analytical, curious, and comfortable challenging inefficiency
- Able to work autonomously, prioritise effectively, and manage multiple tasks
- Great communicator who can translate technical detail into meaningful outputs for stakeholders
