The Role
We're recruiting on behalf of an established premium consumer brand recognised for its innovation, quality, and commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences. As the Ecommerce Manager, you'll take ownership of the company's online trading performance, driving sales, conversion, and profit through a data-led and customer-centric approach. This role offers the opportunity to shape the end-to-end ecommerce journey, working cross-functionally with digital, brand, and product teams to optimise the website experience, enhance trading performance, and support international expansion into new markets such as the US and Australia.
Key Requirements
Lead ecommerce trading and optimisation initiatives to drive revenue, margin, and overall commercial growth.
Deliver accurate forecasting and performance reporting to inform business planning and strategic decisions.
Oversee site UX and CRO projects including A/B testing, product page optimisation, and checkout improvements.
Analyse customer journeys and conversion funnels using GA4 and other analytics tools to inform enhancements.
Manage pricing, promotions, and merchandising strategies to achieve growth and profitability objectives.
Collaborate closely with Paid Media, CRM, and Brand teams to ensure campaigns and onsite experiences align commercially.
Liaise with development teams to brief, test, and implement new site features and functionality.
Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to maintain a best-in-class ecommerce offering.
Support trading and optimisation across international markets, including localised sites for overseas customers.
Uphold brand standards across all digital touchpoints to ensure a seamless user experience.
Candidate Criteria
Proven experience in an ecommerce trading or optimisation role, ideally within a DTC or consumer brand environment.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance sales volume, conversion, and margin performance.
Hands-on experience in UX/CRO practices including A/B testing and customer journey analysis.
Confident working with GA4 and other ecommerce analytics tools to extract insights and drive actions.
Familiarity with Shopify or similar ecommerce platforms.
Highly organised and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functionally.
Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with international ecommerce trading or new market launches is advantageous.
Passion for lifestyle, wellness, or premium consumer products is a plus.
