Job title: Data and Insights Analyst

Salary: £35,000-£40,000

Location: Coventry (Hybrid - 1 day WFH)

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

We're working with one of the UK's fastest-growing ecommerce retailers, a brand that has quickly established itself as a market leader and continues to expand across the UK and internationally. With ambitious growth plans, they are looking to strengthen their data capability by hiring a Data and Insights Analyst to support smarter decision-making and business performance.


The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Data and Insights Analyst to join a dynamic, high-growth environment. You'll be at the heart of the business, working directly with senior leadership to transform raw data into meaningful insights that shape strategy.

The role spans multiple areas of the business, including ecommerce, supply chain, logistics, and warehousing - giving you exposure to a wide range of commercial and operational challenges. Your insights will play a crucial role in driving efficiency, profitability, and customer experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, validate, and analyse data from internal and external sources.
  • Build dashboards and reports (automated and ad hoc) using Power BI, Looker Studio, or Excel.
  • Identify trends and insights to support operational improvements and commercial decisions.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear and actionable way.
  • Ensure data is accurate, timely, and accessible across the business.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong SQL skills (essential).
  • Experience using BI tools such as Power BI, Looker Studio, or Tableau.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Previous experience in ecommerce, retail, logistics, or supply chain (desirable).
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects.

(Bonus: Python or other scripting skills would be advantageous but not essential.)
