The Role - What You'll Be Doing
As a Corporate Finance Analyst, you will work closely with senior professionals on a wide range of corporate transactions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Financial Analysis & Valuations - Conducting company valuations, financial modelling, and sector research.
- Transaction Support - Assisting in M&A deals, fundraising, and strategic advisory projects.
- Market Research & Intelligence - Analysing industry trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities.
- Client Presentations & Reports - Preparing pitch materials, buyer lists, and acquisition target analyses.
- Deal Origination & Business Development - Identifying new clients and supporting marketing initiatives.
- Professional Training & ICAEW Qualification - Becoming a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) with full sponsorship and support from Heligan Group.
Who We're Looking For
- Degree: 2:1 or above (achieved or predicted) Graduated in 2025 or graduating in 2026
- Equivalent of 112 UCAS points.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent research and communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly.
- Commercial awareness, with an interest in UK business, finance, and investment trends.
- Proactive and collaborative mindset, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Heligan value diverse talent - applicants must have the right to work in the UK no visa sponsorship available (inc graduate visas)
