M&A Associate Director
A leading international M&A specialist is looking for an ambitious M&A Associate Director/Senior Manager ready to take the next step toward becoming an independent dealmaker. With a no‑nonsense, entrepreneurial culture and a strong focus on supporting SME entrepreneurs, this firm offers the chance to work on transactions from A to Z from day one.
The Opportunity
If you have a few years of M&A experience and the drive to grow into a fully independent dealmaker within three years, this role is designed for you. You'll take ownership across the full transaction process, work closely with entrepreneurs, and operate in a fast‑paced, highly commercial environment. This role has been created due to exceptional forecast deal flow, making this a busy role from day one!
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct company and market analyses
- Manage the deal end to end mentoring and guiding team members
- Meet and engage with potential buyers and sellers
- Proactively approach new prospects
- Build and maintain a strong professional network
- Prepare financing applications and resolve financing challenges
- Support senior dealmakers throughout ongoing projects
Profile
- 3+ years' experience in M&A, PE, VC or Corporate development or Accelerated M&A
- Strong analytical, commercial, and strategic mindset
- Entrepreneurial, social, and results‑driven
- Affinity with SME businesses is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and relationship‑building ability
