Gleeson Recruitment Group has this month announced a 6310ft2 expansion to their Birmingham city centre headquarters, paving the way for 60 new recruits. The organisation is calling for applicants who are either interested in starting a career in recruitment, or already have experience in the industry and are keen to progress within an exciting and dynamic environment. Applications can be made quickly and easily here.

The expansion represents a £1.2m investment following two years of incredible success for the organisation which saw revenue double, along with a successful move into the European tech market. And with Gleeson’s grand ambition to be active on every continent by 2025, they’re calling for motivated individuals to drive their mission forward.

“You don’t necessarily need experience in recruitment to join us, we’re just looking for nice people who are driven, tenacious, and team-spirited,” explained Gleeson’s talent director Petra O’Hara. “We have openings across all our divisions, and we work with jobseekers within a huge range of sectors, from accountancy and finance, to marketing and HR. Having recently been named the number one recruitment company to work for in the UK, we have a lot to offer successful applicants. For example, all our team members enjoy a four-and-a half day working week, flexible and hybrid working, on-site gym, meditation and yoga sessions, full training and mentoring, and other incredible rewards and benefits.”

The new office space includes a number of themed meeting rooms, a moss wall to reduce noise levels and improve air quality, along with break-out areas, a state-of-the-art kitchen, and even a bar for hosting events. New team members will be joining a team of over 100 recruiters and support staff based in spacious Newhall Street offices in Birmingham’s bustling business district.

“We’ve expanded our office space by over 30% at a time when many businesses are scaling back, and we’re pleased to be able to offer our team a vibrant space to work and meet clients when they choose to work from the office,” said co-founded Jason Blakey. “We’re growing as a business at a phenomenal rate, and the future’s looking really exciting.”
