Are you looking to join a well established, fast growing manufacturing business?
On behalf of my client I'm on the hunt for an experienced Welder/Fabricator that has experience of supervising a team. The role will report directly into the Production Manager and you will be responsible for the Welding department on site during your shift. Working closely with the shop floor you will coordinate the workload and set production targets while monitoring quality standards to meet customer requirements.
Given the nature of the business you will need a 'can do attitude' and be a target driven individual in order to succeed and meet tight deadlines. You will ensure your team and department operate in a safely and productive manner to all tasks assigned.
The successful Welding Coordinator will also have the following responsibilities:
- Lead, develop and manage a team to deliver planned and budgeted standards to quality, time and costs.
- Monitor team performance both as a team and an individual basis.
- Completing return to work interviews.
- To promote team morale.
You will have a high level of experience within welding & fabrication. Ideally have worked with a variety of metals ranging from Titanium to Stainless Steel with a variation of thicknesses as low as 0.35mm.
This role will operate on a days shift to start with the potential to move to a morning / afternoon shift pattern in the future. The basic salary will range from £30k - £33k DOE.
