Transformation Director - Sales and Operational Planning

£100K basic + bonus and package

FTC for 2 years

East Midlands Location but will support remote working

My client is a leading FTSE 250 FMCG business based in the East Midlands As part of a larger group transformation programme, there is an opportunity for in this £120M division for a transformation director join the business to improve the sales and operational planning processes. The role will lead all aspects of the S&OP transformation from the early stage design through to build and implementation of change across processes, systems and people.related elements.

You will be accountable for reviewing the current sales and operational processes and designing a new fit for purpose solution to improve the current state and build new S&OP processes to improve the supply chain management.

Once the scoping and design work has been completed you will be responsible for building the change programme to implement, define milestones and create a change road map for the division. As part of the senior management team you will be driving the whole change agenda and engaging with the right people across the business to bring them along the change journey with strong appetite and understanding of the benefits realisation.

Some examples of the desired outcomes from this role will include the development of their on-time order fulfilment; improving accuracy across sales forecasting and operational delivery; cost savings as process efficiencies are realised.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrable background as a senior supply chain leader working within a complex matrix based organisation. You will have previously transformed sales and operational planning processes and systems and be comfortable facing off with senior management across Finance, IT, Operations, Factory Management and HR whilst being able to positively engage with the wider workforce to drive the change agenda.
