Job title: Trade Marketing Manager

Location: West Midlands

Contract: 12 month FTC

Salary: up to £50k

Start date: March 2022

WFH: Hybrid - 2-3 days in office will be required (apply for company details)

The role:

Working as a Trade Marketing Manager with this business, you will take the lead in understanding the needs of all clients and delivering the best strategy to drive sales through digital and traditional marketing platforms.

You will support internal teams and together deliver multi-channel stockists with all necessary product information and solutions to achieve optimum sales.

Key requirements:

  • Work with a range of clients on various platforms with varying needs to advise best practise with stock
  • Create and implement the marketing strategy for specific channels
  • Work effectively in line with budget
  • Work consistently and innovatively to support customers and internal teams/departments to increase sales of products
  • Consistently develop a CRM system which effectively informs and engages clients
  • Continually develop a marketing calendar including trade shows and seasonal marketing campaigns
  • Effectively engage with PR agencies to increase and deliver optimum product awareness
  • Analyse trade marketing success' and activity to develop and implement effective changes to the marketing strategy

Candidate criteria:

  • Previous experience as a Trade Marketing Manager
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent copy writing and communications skills
  • Ability to work well with multiple and various stakeholders and clients effectively and manage relationships and accounts to the best possible level
  • Understanding of channel management
  • Able to give precise briefs to external agencies and internal teams
  • Analytically minded and proven experience in developing and amending strategies
  • Commercial background
  • Able to work well in a fast-paced environment and work to deadlines across multiple projects/products
  • Able to work independently
  • Experience working with trade marketing tools and social media software
  • Able to develop and implement trade marketing calendar to meet needs of business and clients
