Tax Accountant - London

Salary Guide: £45,000 - £50,000 + 25 days holiday + superb pension + health care

Hybrid working (2 days per week in the office - very flexible)

We are currently seeking a talented, experienced Tax Accountant for our client, who are a reputable, global business, with a superb track record with their clients. You will be working with a close-knit, highly valued and experienced UK Tax team of 4, and you will be reporting to the Head of Tax.

Ideally you will be able to offer demonstrable recent experience of performing a similar Tax Accountant role, but now ready for a new move. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a market leading, International client, where you will be able to add value to the team, and offer a stable Tax history.

In this role, you will be working very closely with the wider finance team, as well as working closely with the indirect and direct tax team across the globe, so potentially you will have recent experience of working in an International organisation.

Your duties as the Tax Accountant will be exceptionally varied and will include:

- Preparation of UK tax returns for the different Groups within the business, for the Tax Manager to review

- Preparation of Tax notes for UK Statutory Accounts

- Managing the transfer pricing, including management charges and licence fees

- Managing Tax reporting model for Group Consolidated Accounts

- Review of UK VAT returns prepared by the external firm

- Co-ordinating information for the tax audit

- Managing with-holding tax, and also tax residency queries

- Involvement as and when required with Tax residency queries

- Involvement with any ad-hoc projects for both UK and overseas tax issues.

Ideal profile as the Tax Accountant

- Demonstrable Tax experience, gained from working within the UK, ideally within a global corporate business

- Maybe you will be Part Qualfied, Stop studier or Qualified by Experience, or Qualified ACA/CTA

- Ideally intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables, V look ups)

- SAP or Oracle experience (full training will be given)
