An entrepreneurial active and outdoor wear brand are currently looking for a Supply Chain Manager to take on a critical role for the development of the business, based in Lichfield.
You will join a family-owned and operated business who trade in a sector driven by passion, technical excellence and of course, brand identity. You are familiar with all of these influences and you identify strongly with the heart of the business - an adventurous product sold to a passionate consumer.
The Supply Chain Manager will be required to understand & take ownership of the current supply chain, which relies on outsourced manufacturing with a partner in a difficult and often hostile location, and develop and lead a strategy for the resourcing to a balanced global supply chain. You will engage with critical stakeholders across the business and culturally aligned yourself to the dynamics of the team - driven, committed, works at pace and with energy. You will develop and demonstrate a clear understanding of the brand proposition and contribute at senior management level in both strategy and innovation. You will understand and improve systems and process, to improve today while readying the business for its future development.
You've established a career within the technical garment industry, ideally with experience of high-performing and hard-wearing products, built to last for a demanding customer base. You have experience of sourcing and broader supply chain management, but perhaps most importantly you have the upwards potential to develop into broader operational leadership, responsible for end-to-end global logistics right from material sourcing to customer delivery. You're hard-working, passionate, inquisitive and innovative, what you do is your passion - and this shows through your determination and commitment to the right result for the business.
The successful candidate will upon proving themselves be appointed to the board of directors and will receive an appropriate share award without any personal financial contribution. Starting salary for the appointment will be in the range of £50,000 to £55,000 with a discretionary performance-related bonus taking the first year earnings potential up to approximately £70,000.
