My client a leading automotive manufacturing brand is seeking to recruit a Supply Chain Analyst for their West Midlands based site, the salary for the role will be c£35,000
Reporting to the Production Manager on site, the Supply Chain Analyst would be directly responsible for overseeing customer service issues between customer demand and production planning. Responsibilities include looking at the delivery schedule and tracking on time performance along with tracking deliveries in accordance with the daily plan. You will need a high level of Excel knowledge as the role involves a lot of date analysis, the ability to be able to manipulate data through formulas and pivot tables will be required.
The Supply Chaim Analyst will oversee the delivery operation building on already good relationships with their clients to ensure success, analyse current and historical data to monitor trends, provide management visibility and drive improvements. You will be charged with providing direction and establish clear priorities to guide operational and service performance.
The successful Supply Chain Analyst will have experience of working in a distribution/logistics environment with previous experience in a demanding sector. Your principal areas of responsibility will include, providing a customer service point of contact for clients, overseeing the delivery schedule. You will need to build relationships to ensure ongoing success, analyse current and historical data to monitor trends, provide management visibility and drive improvements. The highest levels of customer visibility are required so you will have to ensure that customer supply is maintained through effective production planning.
